Over the years I have taught across the curriculum at UiT: real algebraic geometry, algebraic geometry, algebra 1 & 2, calculus 3, linear algebra, and numerical methods.
Special curricula
For advanced students I regularly offer special curricula and reading courses; recent topics include semidefinite and polynomial optimization, invariant theory and representation theory, symmetry in computation, and geometric combinatorics.
Courses across Norway
Since 2021 I have regularly organized advanced courses that gather master’s students from universities across Norway, combining weekly online lectures with in-person meetings in Tromsø and Bergen — a way for a small mathematical community to offer courses none of us could alone. The format is described in this UiT article (in Norwegian); today such courses run through the Lie–Størmer Center.
